A sleek, low-profile Relative Motion Orthosis. Use for finger flexion or extension.

Features:

A waterproof metallic band with a smooth UV-coated silicone finish.
The locking tab on each end utilizes a novel approach to custom splinting by transforming a ready-to-use, flexible band into a rigid orthosis.
Sized and fitted directly on the hand into a Relative Motion Flexion or Extension
Orthosis for the index, middle, ring, or small finger, depending on the objective.

Hook Splint RMO can be applied to either three or four fingers.
The open loop design, once it is fastened, allows for alternation between flexion and extension for a finger that needs both directions.
The size Small/Medium is made with a softer/more conformable metal; sizes large and XL are made with a thicker, more rigid metal.
Not made with natural rubber latex.

Application instructions

HOOK SPLINT® MAX splint configurations include:

Anti-Claw: Apply to ring and small finger for clawing from ulnar nerve or index and middle finger for median nerve injury.
MCP Flexion: Apply to one or more fingers for extension contractures, PIP Flexion contractures, or fractures/sprains when indicated.
Thumb MCP Hypermobility: To prevent MP hyperextension in cases such as EDS and Arthritis.
Thumb CMC Pain: To give extra support to the CM and offload pain commonly caused by Arthritis.

Indications for the RMO with relative Extension include:

Extensor tendon/sagittal band injury or repair.
PIP extension contracture - 2º swan neck deformities or trauma.
Trigger finger non-operative.

Indications for the RMO with relative Flexion include:

- PIP flexion contracture or extensor lag - 2º Trauma, scar tissue/adhesions, fracture shortening, boutonniere deformities, flexor tendon repair,
- Dupuytren's disease (s/p fasciectomy, needle or enzyme tx) or post-trigger finger release.

Expedited Shipping (1-2 business days + 1-3 business days transit time)

Faster turnaround in shipping from receipt of order to delivery.
Earlier order cut-off time of 2 PM EST. Orders placed before 2 PM EST typically ship the same day or within 24 business hours.
Delivery within the stated timeframe is guaranteed, or your shipping cost will be refunded in full. Some exceptions apply.
Any delays in shipping will be notified via email.
Expedited shipping will be sent via the seller's preferred method. FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS

If the customer provides an incorrect delivery address, we are not responsible for delivering the package to the wrong location. We shipped your order to the exact address you provided. Depending on the shipping carrier's policies, you may need to pay additional fees to redirect the package to the correct address, or the package may be returned to the sender. Any and all return shipping charges will be deducted from your total refund.

Hook Splint

Received my Hook Splint in good condition. My problem is with the middle 2 fingers of my right hand. My husband helped me figure out how to put the splint on. It is not all that comfortable. The 2 outer fingers were becoming very sore. So, I took some corn pads and cut them to fit around the outside sides of the splint. This helped some. I am also right handed and I could not write or use my computer while wearing the splints. Also, eating is hard. Had to take the splints off. I do try to wear them as much as possible. I wear them to bed and when I'm watching TV. Sorry I could not be more positive.
